A collaborative project designed and fabricated by Paradox Design Group, A Ship in the Woods founder RJ Brooks, Salk Institute Neurobiologist John Reynolds, sound artist Greg Smaller and researcher Daw-An Wu. Based on visual scientist Patrick Cavanagh, Rhodopsin blurs the boundary between art and science. The individual's photo-receptor's are activated in complete darkness creating a unique bodily and visual experience.
